About Briskly.

A one-person tools studio making the kind of free web tools we'd want to use ourselves. No signup. No watermark. No “connect your Google account.” Made for busy people who need the thing, now.

Who

Briskly is built by Matt Edward, an independent developer and SEO practitioner based in Calgary, Alberta. Background in search, content, small-business tooling. Running this because most of the "free" tool sites online are ad-choked, signup-walled, or watermark-your-output, and none of that is actually free.

What

Free, single-purpose web tools. Each does one thing well — generate an invoice, draft an NDA, count tokens for an LLM prompt — without trying to become a platform. The tools run in your browser. Your data doesn't leave your device. The PDF exports print locally. No server sees what you typed.

Currently live:

More shipping regularly. See the home page for the current full set.

Why free

The tools are inexpensive to build and host, and the internet is better when you can do something useful without signing up or paying. Briskly covers hosting and development costs through optional affiliate recommendations on relevant tool pages — if you were going to sign up for invoicing software anyway, we appreciate when you use our link, but the tools stay free either way.

How it's built

Next.js 16, Tailwind 4, deployed on Vercel. Claude Design generated the original brand system (see our first-look article). The tools themselves are client-rendered React with localStorage persistence, so they work offline once the initial page loads.
