1. Using the site
Briskly.tools is a collection of free single-purpose web tools. You're free to use them for any lawful purpose, personal or commercial, without an account, without paying, and without attribution — except where your local law requires otherwise (e.g., tax-compliant invoice format in your jurisdiction).
You agree not to: (a) use the site for anything illegal; (b) attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the site's infrastructure; (c) resell or re-host the tools as your own without a substantive change of form and attribution.
2. Tools are provided "as is"
All tools are provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We make no warranty, express or implied, that the tools are accurate, fit for a particular purpose, legally compliant in your jurisdiction, free of errors, or suitable for your specific situation. You're responsible for reviewing any output before you rely on it.
3. Not legal, tax, or financial advice
Several tools on the site generate documents that look like legal instruments (NDAs, rental agreements, invoices). They are templates, not legal advice. We are not attorneys, accountants, or licensed financial advisors. Using a template does not create an attorney-client or professional relationship between you and Briskly. Laws vary by jurisdiction — before signing or relying on any generated document for anything material, have it reviewed by a licensed professional in your jurisdiction.
4. Content you enter
When you enter text, upload a logo, or paste content into any tool, that content stays in your browser. We don't claim any rights to it. We also don't have a server- side copy of it. If you lose it, that's typically because you cleared browser data — it's not something we can recover for you.
5. Third-party links
Some pages link to third-party products and services. We don't control those sites. We're not responsible for their content, pricing, data practices, or availability. Some links may be affiliate links — see our privacy policy for the disclosure.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Briskly is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the tools — including lost profits, lost data, or disputes arising from documents you generated and chose to rely on. Our total aggregate liability for any direct damages is limited to USD $0 (the tools are free).
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. For any dispute, the courts in Alberta have exclusive jurisdiction, unless an applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction provides you the right to sue where you reside.
8. Changes
We may update these terms as the site evolves. Material changes get the "effective" date bumped at the top. Continued use of the tools after a change means you accept the new terms.
